 Born on September 16, 1982, Louis Richard Palmisano is a professional baseball athlete who hails from Utica, New York. Palmisano, who is more popularly called as Lou, is a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School where he became a known baseball varsity player. He entered the Major League Baseball in 2001 as a 643rd overall selection of the Chicago White Sox. However, Palmisano refused to sign with the team and opted to finish his college education at Broward Community College. In 2003, after obtaining his business degree from the said college, he entered the MLB draft again with the Milwaukee Brewers as a 69th pick.

As a member of the Brewers, he was assigned to the Helena Brewers which is a Rookie-League team of the Milwaukee Brewers. He appeared in 47 games with the rookie league team and was able to record 6 home runs and .391 batting average. Topps named him to the All-Star team of the short season. He was likewise named as the Pioneer League’s Most Valuable Player.

He appeared in a few more minor league teams and was acquired by the Houston Astros in 2008. He was supposed to make his Major League Baseball debut with the team but was sent back to the Brewers which deferred the Astros’ offer. Palsimano instead joined the minor league team Round Rock Express of the Triple-A. At present, Palsimano is a member of the Pensacola Pelicans of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball.
