Lou Franceschetti (full name: Lou Franceschetti; no nicknames) played right wing from 1982 until 1992 for the Washington Capitals, Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Sabres. He played for the Capitals from 1982 - 1989, Leafs from 1990 - 1991 and Sabres from 1991 - 1992. Over 10 seasons, he played 459 games, scored 59 goals, and made 81 assists. Born in Toronto, Ontario on March 28, 1958, Franceschetti stands 6-0 and weighs 200 lbs. He was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the 5th round (71st overall) of the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft.
