Lou Creekmur (fullname: Louis Creekmur; no nicknames) played Defensive Tackle from 1950 until 1959 for the Detroit Lions. He played 116 games, intercepted passes and recovered 3 fumbles. Born in Hopelawn, NJ on January 22, 1927, Creekmur stands 6'4 and weighs 246 lbs. He attended college at William & Mary. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 26th round (243rd overall) of the 1948 NFL Draft. Creekmur was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1996, senior candidate in 1980.
