Loren Woods (full name: Loren Gerard Woods; no nicknames) played Forward-Center from 2002 until 2008 for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Miami Heat, Toronto Raptors and Houston Rockets. Over 6 seasons, he played 215 games, scored 555 points (2.6 ppg) and grabbed 682 rebounds (3.2 rpg). Woods also dished out 74 assists (0.3 apg), made 55 steals (0.3 spg), and blocked 128 shots (0.6 bpg) during his career. Born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 21, 1978, Woods stands 7-1 and weighs 245 lbs. He attended high school at Cardinal Ritter in Saint Louis, Missouri and college at University of Arizona. He was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2nd round (17th pick, 45th overall) of the 2001 NBA draft.
