Loren Meyer (full name: Loren Henry Meyer; no nicknames) played Center from 1996 until 1999 for the Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets. Over 3 seasons, he played 140 games, scored 645 points (4.6 ppg) and grabbed 480 rebounds (3.4 rpg). Meyer also dished out 77 assists (0.6 apg), made 31 steals (0.2 spg), and blocked 50 shots (0.4 bpg) during his career. Born in Emmetsburg, Iowa on December 30, 1972, Meyer stands 6-10 and weighs 257 lbs. He attended high school at Ruthven-Ayrshire in Ruthven, Iowa and college at Iowa State University. He was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in the 1st round (24th pick, 24th overall) of the 1995 NBA draft.
