Lonny Frey (full name: Linus Reinhard Frey; Junior) played second baseman and shortstop from 1933 until 1948 for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, New York Yankees and New York Giants. He played for the Dodgers from 1933 - 1936, Cubs from 1937 - 1947, Reds from 1938 - 1946, Yankees from 1947 - 1948 and Giants in 1948. Over 14 seasons, he played 1535 games, hit 61 home runs, drove in 848 runs, and stole 105 bases. Born on August 23, 1910 in St. Louis, MO (All Transactions), Frey stood 5' 10" and weighed 160 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on August 29, 1933 and he played his final game on September 28, 1948. Common misspellings of his name include Linus Junior lonnie Lonny Reinhard Frey.
