Lonnie Young (fullname: Lonnie R. Young; no nicknames) played Defensive Back from 1985 until 1996 for the St. Louis Cardinals, New York Jets and San Diego Chargers. He played 147 games, made 714 tackles, intercepted 11 passes, recovered 14 fumbles, and is credited with 3.5 quarterback sacks. Born in Flint, MI on July 18, 1963, Young stands 6'1 and weighs 205 lbs. He attended college at Michigan State. He was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 12th round (325th overall) of the 1985 NFL Draft.
