Leon Roberts (full name: Leon Kauffman Roberts; no nicknames) played outfielder from 1974 until 1984 for the Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, Toronto Blue Jays and Kansas City Royals. He played for the Tigers from 1974 - 1975, Astros from 1976 - 1977, Mariners from 1978 - 1980, Rangers from 1981 - 1982, Jays in 1982 and Royals from 1983 - 1984. Over 11 seasons, he played 900 games, hit 78 home runs, drove in 342 runs, and stole 26 bases. Born on January 22, 1951 in Vicksburg, MI, Roberts stands 6' 3" and weighs 200 lb. He attended high school and was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 10th round of the 1972 amateur draft. His debut was on September 3, 1974 and he played his final game on September 30, 1984.
