He played for the Braves from 1971 - 1974 and Mets from 1976 - 1977. Over 5 seasons, he played 144 games, hit 2 home runs, drove in 35 runs, and stole 7 bases. Born on February 2, 1951 in Covington, KY, Foster stands 5' 11" and weighs 165 lb. He attended Holmes (Covington, KY) high school and was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 2nd round of the 1969 amateur draft.
