He played for the Reds from 1960 - 1968, Twins from 1969 - 1971, Angels in 1972, Indians in 1973 and Rangers from 1974 - 1975. Over 16 seasons, he played 1941 games, hit 118 home runs, drove in 662 runs, and stole 39 bases. Born on December 17, 1938 in Matanzas, Cuba (All Transactions), Cardenas stands 5' 11" and weighs 150 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on July 25, 1960 and he played his final game on September 26, 1975. Over his career, Cardenas made $251,000.
