LeRon Ellis (full name: LeRon Perry Ellis; no nicknames) played Forward-Center from 1992 until 1996 for the Los Angeles Clippers, Charlotte Hornets and Miami Heat. Over 3 seasons, he played 91 games, scored 277 points (3.0 ppg) and grabbed 220 rebounds (2.4 rpg). Ellis also dished out 29 assists (0.3 apg), made 25 steals (0.3 spg), and blocked 37 shots (0.4 bpg) during his career. Born in Los Angeles, California on April 28, 1969, Ellis stands 6-9 and weighs 225 lbs. He attended high school at Mater Dei in Santa Ana, California and college at Syracuse University. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 1st round (22nd pick, 22nd overall) of the 1991 NBA draft.
