Lawrence Moten (full name: Lawrence Edward Moten III; no nicknames) played Guard from 1996 until 1998 for the Vancouver Grizzlies and Washington Wizards. Over 3 seasons, he played 119 games, scored 747 points (6.3 ppg) and grabbed 181 rebounds (1.5 rpg). Moten also dished out 182 assists (1.5 apg), made 77 steals (0.6 spg), and blocked 32 shots (0.3 bpg) during his career. Born in Washington, District of Columbia on March 25, 1972, Moten stands 6-5 and weighs 185 lbs. He attended high school at New Hampton School in Hampton, New Hampshire and college at Syracuse University. He was drafted by the Vancouver Grizzlies in the 2nd round (7th pick, 36th overall) of the 1995 NBA draft.
