Larry Costello (full name: Lawrence Ronald Costello; Larry) played Guard from 1955 until 1968 for the Philadelphia Warriors, Syracuse Nationals and Philadelphia 76ers. Over 12 seasons, he played 706 games, scored 8622 points (12.2 ppg) and grabbed 2705 rebounds (3.8 rpg). Costello also dished out 3215 assists (4.6 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Minoa, New York on July 2, 1931, Costello stood 6-1 and weighed 186 lbs. He attended high school at Minoa in Minoa, New York and college at Niagara University. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Warriors in the 2nd round (3rd pick, 12th overall) of the 1954 NBA draft.
