Larry Christenson (full name: Larry Richard Christenson; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1973 until 1983 for the Philadelphia Phillies. He played for the Phillies from 1973 - 1983. Over 11 seasons, he started 220 games, won 83 games, struck out 781 batters, and had a 3.79 ERA. Born on November 10, 1953 in Everett, WA, Christenson stands 6' 4" and weighs 215 lb. He attended Marysville (Marysville, WA) high school and was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 1st round (3rd pick) of the 1972 amateur draft. His debut was on April 13, 1973 and he played his final game on June 3, 1983. Over his career, Christenson made $250,000.
