Larry Biittner (full name: Lawrence David Biittner; no nicknames) played outfielder, first baseman and pinch hitter from 1970 until 1983 for the Washington Senators, Texas Rangers, Montreal Expos, Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds. He played for the Senators from 1970 - 1971, Rangers from 1972 - 1983, Expos from 1974 - 1976, Cubs from 1976 - 1980 and Reds from 1981 - 1982. Over 14 seasons, he played 1217 games, hit 29 home runs, drove in 310 runs, and stole 10 bases. Born on July 27, 1945 in Pocahontas, IA, Biittner stands 6' 2" and weighs 205 lb. He attended Catholic (Pocahontas, IA) high school and was drafted by the Washington Senators in the 10th round of the 1968 amateur draft.
