Kris Wilson is an American pro football athlete who is currently lined up as tight end and fullback for the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League. Wilson stands 6 ft. 3 in. and weighs in at 250 lbs. and was born on August 22, 1981 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and graduated from J. P. McCaskey High School in Lancaster. Wilson started to play football in high school where he posed as both linebacker and wide receiver. And during his senior year, Wilson won first team All Lancaster Lebanon Section One honors at both linebacker and wide receiver.
Wilson then took his college education when he attended the University of Pittsburgh where he also participated in college football. Wilson’s pro football career began after he was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the second round of the 2004 NFL Draft. Wilson spent four seasons with the Chiefs before joining the Philadelphia Eagles before the beginning of the 2008 seasons. Wilson was however unable to play in the league with the Eagles, and spent half of the 2008 season as practice squad member. But in the mid part of that season, Wilson was then acquired by the Chargers.
