Kirk Gibson (full name: Kirk Harold Gibson; no nicknames) played outfielder from 1979 until 1995 for the Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Kansas City Royals and Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Tigers from 1979 - 1995, Dodgers from 1988 - 1990, Royals in 1991 and Pirates in 1992. Over 17 seasons, he played 1635 games, hit 255 home runs, drove in 985 runs, and stole 284 bases. Born on May 28, 1957 in Pontiac, MI, Gibson stands 6' 3" and weighs 215 lb.
