Kip Gross (full name: Kip Lee Gross; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1990 until 2000 for the Cincinnati Reds, Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros. He played for the Reds from 1990 - 1991, Dodgers from 1992 - 1993, Red Sox in 1999 and Astros in 2000. Over 6 seasons, he started 12 games, won 7 games, struck out 81 batters, and had a 3.90 ERA. Born on August 24, 1964 in Scottsbluff, NE, Gross stands 6' 2" and weighs 195 lb. He attended high school and was drafted by the New York Mets in the 4th round of the 1986 amateur draft. His debut was on April 21, 1990 and he played his final game on May 29, 2000. Over his career, Gross made $923,000. Common misspellings of his name include Kip Kip Lee Gross.
