He played for the Pirates from 1992 - 2003 and Royals in 1996. Over 12 seasons, he played 1205 games, hit 144 home runs, drove in 536 runs, and stole 83 bases. Born on June 16, 1969 in Alpena, MI, Young stands 6' 3" and weighs 210 lb. He attended high school and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 7th round of the 1990 amateur draft.
