Kevin Alvin Willis is a retired basketball player in the National Basketball Association. He is from Los Angeles, California and spent his college basketball career at the Jackson Community College and the Michigan State University.
In 1984, Willis was drafted as the 11th overall pick in the 1st round of the NBA Entry Draft by the Atlanta Hawks. There he provided a stern rebounding prowess and worked with teammates such as Dominique Wilkins, Spud Webb, and Doc Rivers to take the Hawks to the playoffs. He played in different teams such as the Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets, and Toronto Raptors. In 2003, Willis was a part of the San Antonio Spurs that won the NBA Finals against the New Jersey Nets. In 2004, he returned to the Hawks and by that time was the oldest active player in the league. He retired at the age of 44 after a short stint with the Dallas Mavericks. He beat Robert Parish in longevity and age- based records. He has a career average of 12.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game. His total career statistics are 17, 253 points, 11, 901 rebounds, and 1, 328 assists. Upon retirement, Willis concentrated on his clothing business.

Kevin Willis (full name: Kevin Alvin Willis; Devo, Fresh) played Forward-Center from 1985 until 2007 for the Atlanta Hawks, Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Toronto Raptors, Denver Nuggets, San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks. Over 21 seasons, he played 1424 games, scored 17253 points (12.1 ppg) and grabbed 11901 rebounds (8.4 rpg). Willis also dished out 1328 assists (0.9 apg), made 958 steals (0.7 spg), and blocked 750 shots (0.5 bpg) during his career. Born in Los Angeles, California on September 6, 1962, Willis stands 7-0 and weighs 220 lbs. He attended high school at Pershing in Detroit, Michigan and college at Michigan State University. He was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in the 1st round (11th pick, 11th overall) of the 1984 NBA draft.
