He played for the Cubs from 1997 - 2002 and Marlins from 1998 - 1999. Over 4 seasons, he played 316 games, hit 22 home runs, drove in 117 runs, and stole 5 bases. Born on September 1, 1972 in West Chester, PA, Orie stands 6' 4" and weighs 210 lb. He attended Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA) high school and was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 1st round (29th pick) of the 1993 amateur draft.
