He played for the Padres from 1983 - 1986, Mets from 1987 - 1994 and Royals from 1992 - 1993. Over 12 seasons, he played 1502 games, hit 211 home runs, drove in 727 runs, and stole 93 bases. Born on October 16, 1959 in Little Rock, AR, McReynolds stands 6' 0" and weighs 205 lb. He attended Sylvan (North Little Rock, AR) high school and was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 1st round (6th pick) of the 1981 amateur draft. His debut was on June 2, 1983 and he played his final game on August 11, 1994. Over his career, McReynolds made $17,525,001. Common misspellings of his name include Walter Kevin McReynolds.
