About Kevin Hardy Memorabilia & Collectibles

 Completing nine seasons in the National Football League, Kevin Hardy is a retired professional football player. He played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Dallas Cowboys and the Cincinnati Bengals. Born and raised in Evansville, Indiana, Hardy attended William Henry Harrison High School and excelled in playing football. Other than the sport, Hardy also took to playing basketball and track.

 

Hardy decided to go to the University of Illinois where he finished a degree in business. He played during the Big Ten football, and was awarded the Dick Buktus Award during his last year in college as the best linebacker and was named as an All-American.

 

The linebacker became eligible to join the 1996 NFL Draft and was selected during the second round by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He signed a six year contract with Jacksonville and helped the Jaguars get to four playoffs. During his first season in the NFL, Hardy was named into the All-Rookie Team and into the Pro Bowl in 1998.

 

After being a free agent in 2002, he signed a one-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys and then with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2003. He was an integral part of the Bengals team during the 2003 and 2004 seasons. Hardy decided to retire from playing in 2005.

Kevin Hardy (fullname: Kevin Thomas Hardy; no nicknames) played from 1968 until 1972 for the San Francisco 49ers, Green Bay Packers and San Diego Chargers. He played 45 games, starting 0 of those. Born in Oakland, CA on July 28, 1945, Hardy stands 6'5 and weighs 276 lbs. He attended college at Notre Dame. He was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the 1st round (7th overall) of the 1968 NFL Draft.
