About Kevin Frandsen Memorabilia & Collectibles

Kevin Vincent Frandsen was born May 24, 1982 in Los Gatos, California. Playing as a second baseman in Major League Baseball for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, this athlete has a good career record. Frandsen studied and graduated in Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, California, and while he was attending San José State University he also played for the Spartans. During the 2004 Major League Baseball Draft, the San Francisco Giants chose him and his big break started in April 28, 2006. On August 17, 2006, it was a memorable time for Frandsen when he hit his first Major League home run versus the Padres. This happened in PETCO Park.

In March 2008, Frandsen had an accident by rupturing of his left Achilles' tendon that almost made him miss the entire season. Frandsen also participated in the Arizona Fall League in 2005, 2006 and 2008. In one of his spring training camp Frandsen and Emmanuel Burriss battled for the starting second baseman position. Sources say that it was Burriss who made it as the starter and Frandsen was made part of the Triple-A Fresno Grizzlies. Fans should visit sportsmemorabilia.com for collectibles like signed baseballs, game used equipment , and bobbleheads pertaining to Frandsen. One can also get an autographed photo of this player online.

A sad day for Frandsen when his brother David passed away in 2004 due to Wilms' tumor. This was three months after Frandsen was drafted. Dave Righetti, the Giants pitching coach and friend gave to Frandsen his jersey number 19 in memory of David's favorite number. In 2007, Frandsen finally finished and earned his college degree in San José State University for finance.
