Entering MLB as a Rule 5 draftee, Kevin Cameron was acquired from the Minnesota twins by the San Diego Padres. A right handed pitcher, high debut season in 2007 was exceptional. April 5, 2007, Cameron started his major league career as a middle reliever pitcher. With earned run average of 2.79, he had 58 innings in over 48 appearances with the Padres. As a rookie, Cameron surpassed the Padre’s longest scoreless innings set by Jeremy Fikac’s 16.0 with 17.1 scoreless innings. This feat is comparable to

Cameron signed with the Oakland Athletics. In a game against the
Seattle Mariners, he made his first career save with 3.0 scoreless innings which helped the Athletics win with a 6 against one win. On May 30, He made his first home run in a match against Texas. He was a free agent in 2009 and in 2010 Cameron signed with the San Francisco Giants.
