Kent Peterson (full name: Kent Franklin Peterson; Pete) played pitcher from 1944 until 1953 for the Cincinnati Reds and Philadelphia Phillies. He played for the Reds from 1944 - 1951 and Phillies from 1952 - 1953. Over 8 seasons, he started 43 games, won 13 games, struck out 208 batters, and had a 4.95 ERA. Born on December 21, 1925 in Goshen, UT, Peterson stood 5' 10" and weighed 170 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on July 15, 1944 and he played his final game on July 18, 1953.
