Kent Nilsson (full name: Kent Nilsson; no nicknames) played center from 1980 until 1995 for the Atlanta Flames, Calgary Flames, Minnesota North Stars and Edmonton Oilers. He played for the Flames in 1980, Flames from 1981 - 1985, North Stars from 1986 - 1987 and Oilers from 1987 - 1995. Over 9 seasons, he played 553 games, scored 264 goals, and made 422 assists. Born in Nynashamn, Sweden on August 31, 1956, Nilsson stands 6-1 and weighs 195 lbs. He was drafted by the Atlanta Flames in the 4th round (64th overall) of the 1976 NHL Amateur Draft.
