He played for the Expos from 1992 - 1993, Rockies from 1993 - 1994, Giants in 1994, Cubs from 1996 - 1997, Cardinals from 1998 - 1999, Angels in 2000, Phillies in 2000 and Astros in 2001. Over 9 seasons, he started 116 games, won 46 games, struck out 566 batters, and had a 4.54 ERA. Born on November 14, 1968 in Portland, OR, Bottenfield stands 6' 3" and weighs 225 lb. He attended James Madison (Portland, OR) high school and was drafted by the Montreal Expos in the 4th round of the 1986 amateur draft.
