About Kent Benson:
Kent Benson (full name: Michael Kent Benson; Kent, Benny) played Center from 1978 until 1988 for the Milwaukee Bucks, Detroit Pistons, Utah Jazz and Cleveland Cavaliers. Over 11 seasons, he played 680 games, scored 6168 points (9.1 ppg) and grabbed 3881 rebounds (5.7 rpg). Benson also dished out 1203 assists (1.8 apg), made 605 steals (0.9 spg), and blocked 586 shots (0.9 bpg) during his career. Born in New Castle, Indiana on December 27, 1954, Benson stands 6-10 and weighs 235 lbs. He attended high school at Chrysler in New Castle, Indiana and college at Indiana University. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1st round (1st pick, 1st overall) of the 1977 NBA draft.
