Kenny Williams is a former American pro baseball athlete and is currently a general manager of the Chicago White Sox in the Major League Baseball with his major career highlight as a coach was being a part of the White Sox’s winning team in the 2005 World Series. He was born in Berkeley, California and graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in East San Jose. He took his college education when he attended the Stanford University before leaving to become a professional baseball player.

 

 

Williams batted and threw with his right and began his pro baseball career after he was drafted during the 1982 amateur draft by the Chicago White Sox in the third round. He then made his pro baseball debut on September 2, 1986. Williams also played as center fielder for three other teams in the league; the Detroit Tigers, Toronto Blue Jays and the Montreal Expos.

 

He had his last game on October 4, 1991 for the Montreal Expos. Williams rejoined the White Sox organization in November 1992 as a scout and in November 2000, Williams replaced Ron Schueler as the general manager of the White Sox.

Kenny Williams (full name: Kenneth Ray Williams; Kenny) played Forward from 1991 until 1994 for the Indiana Pacers. Over 4 seasons, he played 260 games, scored 1247 points (4.8 ppg) and grabbed 693 rebounds (2.7 rpg). Williams also dished out 161 assists (0.6 apg), made 76 steals (0.3 spg), and blocked 166 shots (0.6 bpg) during his career. Born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina on June 9, 1969, Williams stands 6-9 and weighs 205 lbs. He attended high school at Fork Union Military Academy in Fork Union, Virginia and college at Elizabeth City State University. He was drafted by the Indiana Pacers in the 2nd round (19th pick, 46th overall) of the 1990 NBA draft.
