Kenny Jonsson (full name: Kenny Jonsson; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1995 until 2004 for the Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Islanders. He played for the Leafs from 1995 - 1996 and Islanders from 1996 - 2004. Over 10 seasons, he played 686 games, scored 63 goals, and made 204 assists. Born in Angelholm, Sweden on October 6, 1974, Jonsson stands 6-3 and weighs 217 lbs. He was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1st round (12th overall) of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. Jonsson officially announced retirement on June 20, 2009.
