Born on September 15, 1983 in Canden, New Jersey, Kenny Irons is a professional football player who is the brother of David Falcons, Atlanta Falcons’ cornerback. He spent his high school days at Dacula High School where he made 1, 985 rushing yards and scored 19 touchdowns. He was awarded as the PrepStar All-American and the Sporting News Top 25. In college, he originally signed with the University of South Carolina where he appeared in nine games for his freshman season and was demoted to the starting position. This made him transfer to Auburn University where he rushed for 1, 293 yards for the 2005 season and rushed for 941 yards in the 2006 season.
After he recovered FROM(the injuries he got from his college football career, he prepared to )JOIN the 2007 National Football League Draft. He and his brother traveled to the Senior Bowl where he recorded a 40-yard dash and a 38 inch vertical leap in his combine with his brother.
In the 2007 National Football League Draft, he was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals as a 49th overall pick in the second round of the said draft. However, he had an injury in a game against the Detroit Lions and was placed in the injury reserve for the subsequent season. He is a currently a free agent.
