Having played for the Montreal Canadiens in the National Hockey League, Kenneth Joseph “Kenny” Reardon is a professional ice hockey defenseman born on April 1, 1921 in Winnipeg, MB, Canada. Standing 5feet 11inches (1.80m), weighting 180 pounds, he make his shot left-handed.
He is a proud player in the National Hockey League, as NHL is an unincorporated association which operates a major professional ice hockey league, as of which six are located in Canada.
Kenny Reardon is physically fit and a determined player who showed great endurance and best skills in playing ice hockey despite of being injured. Spending several years playing for the army teams in Ottawa and win the Allan cup in 1943.
As he continued his passion for playing, he gained some awards as a player in 1946 and as an assistant manager in 1956 both in Stanley Cup. He was also a consecutive winner as the Vice-President in the year 1957, 1958, 1959 and 1960 in Stanley Cup. He won the defense award in NHL First All-Star team in 1947 and 1950. Adding to his achievements, he set the record as a defense in NHL Second all-Star team in 1946, 1948 and 1949.
He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame and the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame and Museum in 1966. He retired in hockey after numerous injuries.
He continued his career out of the rink and became a successful executive in hockey with the Canadiens. As the Canadians Vice- President, he managed teams to minor league championships.
