Ken Caminiti (full name: Kenneth Gene Caminiti; no nicknames) played third baseman from 1987 until 2001 for the Houston Astros, San Diego Padres, Texas Rangers and Atlanta Braves. He played for the Astros from 1987 - 2000, Padres from 1995 - 1998, Rangers in 2001 and Braves in 2001. Over 15 seasons, he played 1760 games, hit 239 home runs, drove in 894 runs, and stole 88 bases. Born on April 21, 1963 in Hanford, CA, Caminiti stood 6' 0" and weighed 200 lb. He attended high school and was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 3rd round of the 1984 amateur draft. His debut was on July 16, 1987 and he played his final game on October 7, 2001.
