Ken Brett (full name: Kenneth Alven Brett; Kemer) played pitcher from 1967 until 1981 for the Boston Red Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees, California Angels, Minnesota Twins, Los Angeles Dodgers and Kansas City Royals. He played for the Red Sox from 1967 - 1971, Brewers in 1972, Phillies in 1973, Pirates from 1974 - 1975, White Sox from 1976 - 1977, Yankees in 1976, Angels from 1977 - 1978, Twins in 1979, Dodgers in 1979 and Royals from 1980 - 1981. Over 14 seasons, he started 184 games, won 83 games, struck out 807 batters, and had a 3.93 ERA. Born on September 18, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY, Brett stood 6' 0" and weighed 190 lb. He attended El Segundo (El Segundo, CA) high school and was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 1st round (4th pick) of the 1966 amateur draft.
