Over 10 seasons, he played 541 games, scored 2960 points (5.5 ppg) and grabbed 2874 rebounds (5.3 rpg). Cato also dished out 244 assists (0.5 apg), made 292 steals (0.5 spg), and blocked 685 shots (1.3 bpg) during his career. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 26, 1974, Cato stands 6-11 and weighs 255 lbs. He attended high school at Lithonia in Decatur, Georgia and college at Iowa State University. He was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in the 1st round (15th pick, 15th overall) of the 1997 NBA draft.
