Kelley Washington is an American professional football player currently playing as wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He was born in Stephens City, Virginia and took his college education at the University of Tennessee where he also played college football and spent two seasons. As a freshman, at the age of 22, in 2001, Washington made it to the freshman All-American team after he caught seventy passes for 1080 yards with seven touchdowns.
Washington began his professional football career after he was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals during the 2003 NFL Draft where he was a third round pick of the team, reuniting him with his college teammate and fellow wide receiver Donte Stallworth. Washington however, had not been used as a wide receiver by the Patriots. On February 29, 2008, Washington signed a contract extension with the Patriots. And on February 17, 2009, Washington was released by the Patriots.
The Ravens invited Washington to an offseason try-out, after which on May 19, 2009, Washington officially signed a one-year contract with Baltimore Ravens. After his release from the Ravens, Washington was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles on July 31, 2010.
