Keith Van Horne is a retired American football player in the National Football League. He was born in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Throughout his thirteen season career in the National Football League, Van Horne played for the Chicago Bears as the team’s part of the offensive line as tackle. Van Horne attended Fullerton High School in Fullerton, California. After graduating from high school, Van Horne took his college studies and played college football at the University of Southern California where he was an All-America tackle during his college football career. Van Horne also helped the USC Trojans in wining the 1978 UPI National Championship.
He was listed at 6 ft. 6 in. and 281 lbs. Van Horne started his professional career in the National Football League after he was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 1981 NFL Draft where he was the eleventh pick in the first round of the Bears. During Van Horne’s fifth seasons, the 1985 season, in the national league, the Chicago Bears emerged as champions in the Super Bowl XX. After playing for thirteen years with the Bears, Van Horne had his last season with the team in 1993. He currently lives in his suburban home in Chicago, Illinois.
