Keith Van Horn, whose full name is Keith Adam Horn was born on October 23, 1975 in the town of Fullerton in California,. He is a retired American basketball player and he stands six feet and ten inches and weighs two hundred fifty pounds. He graduated from the University of Utah where he played on the First Team All American in the year 1997. He finished his career in Utah being the top scorer and the star player when the team won the NCAA Division I. He became the recipient of the ESPN Men’s College Basketball Performer of the Year in 1997.
He started his NBA career when he was selected in the 1997 NBA draft by the 76ers. Shortly after, he was traded to the New Jersey Nets and he played with them from 1997 until 2002. During these seasons, his average score per game was twenty points and he became fifth highest scorer in the 1999 season. He was also one of the major contributor to the team in the Eastern Conference Championship in 2002. He led the team to be the first place in rebounding and the second on scoring. During his entire career as an NBA player, he joined the teams Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks and the Dallas Mavericks. He also became an important member of the Mavericks in the Western Conference Championship Team in the year 2005 to 2006. He officially ended his career in 2008 and his records include a 16.0 scoring average and seven rebounds per game.
