Kathy Postlewait is a former professional golf player who has spent most of her career in the LPGA Tour. She hails from Norfolk, Virginia and had her college education at East Carolina University where she lettered in golf. After her college career, she went pro in the 1972 season and started joining the LPGA Tour. Her first win in the LPGA Tour was the San Jose Classic which she had in 1983. Before that victory, she has recorded runner-up victories which include sudden death playoffs against Hollis Stacy and Patty Sheehan.
In the 1987 season, she bagged the Mazda Classic championship over Betsy King. According to reviews, she had a very fruitful 1988 season when she placed in the top ten of the games she played eight times and won the McDonald’s Championship. She also participated in the USX Golf Classic game but did not win over her opponent, Rosie Jones. She was also able to achieve the Sara Lee Classic tour in 1989 and was second place at the Nabicso Dinah Shore. She had several other games in the said tournament and in total, she recorded four wins. Her most recent game before retirement was the Sara Lee Classic where she ranked in the 27th place in the 1997 season.
