Josh Wilson is an American pro football athlete who is currently lined up in the National Football League as a cornerback for the Seattle Seahawks’ team. He was born in Upper Marlboro, Maryland and took his college education attending the University of Maryland where he also played college football and was a noteworthy athlete during his college career. Wilson’s pro football career began after he was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft.

 

Wilson had an impressive start in his pro football season, and during his third rookie week in their match against the Cincinnati Bengals, Wilson was able to return the opening seventy two yard kickoff to help set up a Matt Hasselbeck touchdown pass to teammate Bobby Engram. Still during his rookie career, in twelfth week against the St. Louis Rams, Wilson then returned an eighty nine yard kickoff return for a touchdown; he then recorded nine tackles in twelve games that he participated in.

 

In the following year, in a match against the San Francisco 49ers on October 26, 2008, Wilson ran back a seventy five yard interception for a touchdown. And at the end of that season, Wilson had seventy six tackles, four interceptions and a single sack.
