About Jonathan Papelbon Autographed Memorabilia & Collectibles
Even if John Levell Starks was passed over during the NBA Draft, he was able to make his way to the league after some stints with the World Basketball League and Continental Basketball Association.
Golden State Warriors eventually signed him in 1988 but Starks left the team to try out for New York Knicks. In a certain practice, Starks tried to dunk on Patrick Ewing, Knicks’ center. The latter threw Starks down and as a result, he twisted his knee. Knicks then was not allowed to release him unless the injury will heal by December. When December came and Starks’ knee was not yet healed, the Knicks decided to keep him. It is the reason why he often referred to Ewing as his saving grace.
Eventually, Starks became Knicks’ starting shooting guard and he even became a key player for the team. He played with the Knicks for eight seasons, from the year 1990 to 1998. As astonishing as Charles Barkley, Starks’ autographed items are now out in the market for all of his fans to acquire. They come in reasonable prices so that everyone can buy. You can also add those items from Anderson Varejao. All of these memorabilia and collectible items are hand signed by these basketball players exclusively. They are certified to be genuine and authentic and they will be promptly shipped right on your doorsteps.
