About Jon Warden Memorabilia & Collectibles

Jon Warden is a former American professional baseball player. He was born on October 1, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio and graduated in Harrisburg High School located in Harrisburg, Ohio. He stands 6 ft. and weighs 205 lbs. He batted using both hands and threw left handed. Warden played as pitcher during his career in the Major League Baseball. Warden began his professional career in the major leagues after he was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 1966 amateur draft held on January 29, 1966. He was a fourth round pick of the team during the draft. After two years following the draft, Warden made his professional debut on April 11, 1968.

In his 1968 season with the Tigers, Warden played for 28 games having 37.3 innings for the Tigers, and ending with a 4-1 record, 11 saves, and an ERA of 3.62. At the end of the 1968 season, which was six months after his pro debut with the Tigers, Warden was drafted by the Kansas City Royals from the Detroit Tigers on October 15, 1968 during the 1968 expansion draft where he was a twelfth pick of the team. However, Warden did not play any games for The Royals, and his September 28, 1968 game with the Tigers was considered his final game.
