Former professional American football fullback with the Philadelphia Eagles, Jon Ritchie has also played for the Oakland Raiders that exclusively owned the Jon Ritchie signed Super Bowl XXXVII mini helmet was born in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on September 4, 1974. Ritchie is about 6’2 feet tall.
He had studied at Cumberland Valley High School and then pursued his studies at the University of Michigan. He then continued his junior and senior years at Stanford University where he played as an inside linebacker. Ritchie then switched to fullback and rushed 17 times for 95 yards and had received nine passes for 80 yards and two powerful touchdowns. When he played at the University of Michigan, he was able to rush for 120 yards and caught two passes for 13 yards. It was in 1998 when he was drafted by the Oakland Raiders as the team’s 63rd overall pick. After playing for the Raiders in the National Football League, Ritchie then played for the Philadelphia Eagles leading to the recognition of Jon Ritchie signed Super Bowl XXXVII mini helmet. During the off-season after his second Super Bowl appearance, Ritchie was cut by the Eagles after an upsetting knee injury that was unfortunately cannot be repaired.
He then retired from the National Football League in 2006. He is currently an announcer for the National Football League Europe games. Ritchie also helps coaching the varsity football team of Cumberland Valley High School where he graduated.
