Johnny Rembert is a retired professional football player who hails from Hollandale, Mississippi. He is a graduate of Clemson University where he spent his college football career and was drafted by the New England Patriots in the fourth round of the National Football League draft in 1983. After being drafted, he immediately played in the national league and showed great skills in the field. He was part of the American Football Conference Champions in the 1986 season in which he made great contributions. He appeared in the Super Bowl XX where he played for the Chicago Bears and also played a major role in the team’s success.
According to many reviews, he showcased great linebacking skills which made him included in the Pro Bowl team of the AFC for two seasons, one in 1989 and the other in 1990. He played in the National Football League until the 1992 season and has recorded 16 sacks and made 7 interceptions in the whole span of his career. He was able to appear in 126 games in total. Because of his remarkable performances in the league, he was included in the New England Patriots Hall of Fame. At present, he works at Edward Waters College as the Director of Athletics. At the same time, he also serves as the Quality Control Representative of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Born in Hollandale, MS on January 19, 1961, Rembert stands 6'3 and weighs 234 lbs. He attended college at Clemson. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the 4th round (101st overall) of the 1983 NFL Draft.
