Johnny Pramesa (full name: John Steven Pramesa; no nicknames) played catcher from 1949 until 1952 for the Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Cubs. He played for the Reds from 1949 - 1951 and Cubs in 1952. Over 4 seasons, he played 185 games, hit 13 home runs, drove in 29 runs, and stole 0 bases. Born on August 28, 1925 in Barton, OH, Pramesa stood 6' 2" and weighed 210 lb. He attended Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV) high school. His debut was on April 24, 1949 and he played his final game on July 26, 1952.
