Johnny Egan (full name: John Francis Egan; Johnny) played Guard from 1962 until 1972 for the Detroit Pistons, New York Knickerbockers, Baltimore Bullets, Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers, San Diego Rockets and Houston Rockets. Over 11 seasons, he played 712 games, scored 5521 points (7.8 ppg) and grabbed 1284 rebounds (1.8 rpg). Egan also dished out 2102 assists (3.0 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Hartford, Connecticut on January 31, 1939, Egan stands 5-11 and weighs 180 lbs. He attended high school at Weaver in Hartford, Connecticut and college at Providence College. He was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 2nd round (3rd pick, 12th overall) of the 1961 NBA draft.
