Johnny Dawkins (full name: Johnny Earl Dawkins Jr.; Pooh) played Guard from 1987 until 1995 for the San Antonio Spurs, Philadelphia 76ers and Detroit Pistons. Over 9 seasons, he played 541 games, scored 5984 points (11.1 ppg) and grabbed 1336 rebounds (2.5 rpg). Dawkins also dished out 2997 assists (5.5 apg), made 618 steals (1.1 spg), and blocked 29 shots (0.1 bpg) during his career. Born in Washington, District of Columbia on September 28, 1963, Dawkins stands 6-2 and weighs 165 lbs. He attended high school at Mackin in Washington, District of Columbia and college at Duke University. He was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs in the 1st round (10th pick, 10th overall) of the 1986 NBA draft.
