The late John Wooden who was a college basketball coach followed a Seven Point Creed which he received from his father during his graduation from his grammar school. It was even said that his lecture fees surpassed those of his salaries as a coach. The coach claimed that these windfalls in his later life have let him create education accounts for his grandchildren.
This author of several more books about both basketball and life have some maxims, one of which was “Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.”
