About John Williamson:
John Williamson (full name: John Lee Williamson; Super John) played Guard from 1974 until 1981 for the New York Nets, Indiana Pacers, New Jersey Nets and Washington Bullets. Over 8 seasons, he played 516 games, scored 9017 points (17.5 ppg) and grabbed 1274 rebounds (2.5 rpg). Williamson also dished out 1441 assists (2.8 apg), made 553 steals (1.1 spg), and blocked 138 shots (0.3 bpg) during his career. Born in New Haven, Connecticut on November 10, 1951, Williamson stood 6-2 and weighed 185 lbs. He attended high school at Wilbur Cross in New Haven, Connecticut and college at New Mexico State University. He was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in the 6th round (10th pick, 96th overall) of the 1973 NBA draft.
